Continuing to tour the globe with the same unbridled passion, enthusiasm and infectious trademark grin that has become synonymous with his DJ sets, the party island of Ibiza remains Spanish housemaster David Penn’s most natural habitat and a key source of inspiration for his studio output spanning the last three decades.
In 2024/25 alone, he has entertained crowds all over the island from Hï, Pacha, Club Chinois and Café Mambo, to O Beach, Amnesia and Ushuaïa. Fresh off the back of a whistlestop tour of Australia in October, he then procured his very own “David Penn & Friends” party at Amsterdam Dance Event with the likes of Mousse T, Low Steppa and Marco Lys all joining him behind the decks.
Reinforcing his position as the #1 ranking Beatport House Music Artist of all time, he kicked off 2025 with the release of ‘Just Stay The Night’, a huge collaboration track he wrote with Vintage Culture and Raphaella exclusively for Defected Records XXV anniversary album. He followed this up in April with his very own XXX anniversary re-vamp of his much revered crossover club hit ‘Nighttrain’ (originally released in 1995 under his alt-guise of Kadoc and selling 2m+ vinyl copies worldwide).
A slew of hot releases followed throughout the summer on the likes of Golden Recordings, Toolroom, PIAS, Jackies Music, Tinted Records, Fool’s Paradise and Altra Moda, including collaborations with Saint Etienne, Kurtis Mantronik, OFFAIAH & Wh0 plus huge reworks of Danny Howells and Dick Trevor’s ‘Dusk til Dawn’ and Cola Boy’s ‘7 Ways to Love’ ensuring his sets were consistently packed with only the finest dancefloor ammo along the way.
With 2026 now firmly in his sights, it is this unparalleled ability to navigate a jam-packed touring schedule whilst building on an ever expanding arsenal of standout anthems that has cemented David’s position as the most consistently successful house music artist in the world right now.
